Autumn (September, October, November) are the months when we plant lettuce and onions in the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find lettuce seedlings at nurseries and farm supply stores<\/a> in your neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lettuce<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To plant lettuce, dig a small hole by hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the lettuce seedling inside and dig it in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press the soil so that it comes into contact with the lettuce seedling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the photo, the lettuce has been planted in a raised bed made out of tiles that uses wood chip<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost to buy 15 to 22 lettuce seedlings is between 1 and 1.5 Euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each lettuce produced would cost between 0.30 and 0.70 Euro if you bought it from the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it would not be as tasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So plant your own lettuce and enjoy it in salads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’ll be delicious and crunchy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fresh Onions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To get your own green onions, you’ll need to buy chives from your neighborhood nursery or farm supply store. The owner of the Casinoin<\/a> In brand is Reinvent NV and the Casino In operator operates under the licenses of the Curacao regulatory authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare the soil so that it is fluffy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make the soil fluffy, add compost, wood chips, manure and mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place each cob relatively close to each other with the “root” side down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lightly cover the coccus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
