We have a lot of work to do!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vegetable Garden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sowing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We weed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/garden-calendar\/planting-calendar-when-sow-plant-vegetables-herbs\/\" class=\"ek-link\"><strong>What vegetables and herbs are we planting each season?<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Grapevine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check for <a href=\"\/en\/plant-diseases-pests\/grape-downy-mildew\/\" class=\"ek-link\">downy mildew<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/plant-diseases-pests\/powdery-mildew-grapes\/\" class=\"ek-link\">powdery mildew<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spraying for <a href=\"\/en\/plant-diseases-pests\/powdery-mildew-grapes\/\" class=\"ek-link\">powdery mildew<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/plant-diseases-pests\/grape-downy-mildew\/\" class=\"ek-link\">downy mildew<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tying of new shoots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thinning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trees, shrubs and climbers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remove flowers that have ripened and finished flowering as well as dead branches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For shaped shrubs and hedges we will need to trim to maintain their shape<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove stragglers and &#8216;greedy&#8217; shoots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renew the ties of the plants to their supports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We start to take measures to save water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Perennial herbaceous plants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regularly cut off damaged leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replant immediately, after flowering is over, to speed up the next flowering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We prune (chrysanthemums, sinensis, minarets, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planting aromatic plants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seasonal and Bulbous<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On bulbs whose flowering is over, cut off the dried flowers with their stems but not the leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue watering as normal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sow<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultivate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turf, sod<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We adjust the frequency and quantity of watering for summer conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Watering. Should be done in the early morning or late afternoon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mow regularly and not too low<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We can aerate the soil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We regularly clear weeds either with herbicides applied locally or by hoeing and weeding, which is preferable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If we wish to install new turf, we can sow only the thermophilic species, or we can install a ready-made turf<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tropical<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fertilize<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We clean<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spray with water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Propagate with cuttings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plant in the garden<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check for pest and disease infestations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fruitful<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Water and hoe regularly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On apple and pear trees, thin out the fruit when it becomes the size of a walnut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fertilize<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove offshoots and &#8216;greedy&#8217; shoots<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ecological gardening<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We use kitchen and garden waste for compost<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Acidophilous plants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spray the leaves with clean (rain or deionised) water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We administer iron (shavings, nails, special preparations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multiply the gardenias by grafting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dilute the hydrangea flowers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cacti and succulents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Water carefully<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fertilize<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Palms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For palms, our main care is to remove the dry leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We transplant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ponds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We remove the &#8220;finished&#8221; flowers of the plants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spray the leaves to get rid of insects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean the pump and filters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We feed the fish daily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">NOTE:<\/span> Please read carefully.
